Welcome to your campus living room.

The Student Union provides you a home away from home, a place where you can find your community at UT.

It is where you meet your friends, grab a bite to eat, engage with student organizations, and attend events. It is the hub of campus, an educational space, and a place to gather.

The Student Union is the largest project in university history.

In 1954, the University Center opened it’s doors to the Volunteer community. More than 60 years later, the University of Tennessee has officially opened the new Student Union. The 395,088 square-foot building took more than nine years of work to complete.
