Event Services

The Student Union offers spaces for the meeting and programming needs of the campus community. Typically there is no fee for campus organizations to use a room; however, certain events may be charged a facility fee.  A number of event support services are also available including catering, audio-visual equipment rental, telecommunications, and computer services.

When planning a meeting or event, first download our “Event Planning Checklist.”  Once you are ready to inquire about space availability or make a reservation, feel free to do so via email, by calling 865-974-3451, or by visiting our Events Services office located in Room 101 of the Panhellenic Building.

Reservation Process: Dunford Hall and the Panhellenic Building

After the closing of the University Center certain operations transitioned to surge spaces during the 2 1/2 year construction of Phase II of the new Student Union.  We are committed to providing quality meeting and event spaces for the University community in Dunford Hall and the Panhellenic Building. To facilitate the reservation of a finite number of spaces, the following policies have been developed.

It is very important that you contact Event Services if you have a request for an accommodation for an individual with a disability. For questions about the new Student Union, please contact the Administrative Office at (865) 974-3455.
